Today I will tell you a story that is ridiculous, but true things that have happen in my life. Well, let me start my story. Does everybody know that if you get hit by lightening, you will die? You have very little possibility to get hit by a lightening too. However, my family's older generation lost their lives because of lightening. My great grandfather was drinking beer when he came out from the beer shop, and was walking with no mind control. Suddenly, lightening hit my great grandfather and took his life. What do you think about this situation? What a unlucky guy! I was very afraid when I heard this from my mother. My father died when I was 2 years old for the same reason. The interesting thing is that lightening only stole boy's life but not women's life. After I heard this, I didn't leave my house. I quit school, I studied at home. However I didn't have enough vitamin D from the sun, I got a bacteria that almost killed me! After this situation, I went out when the sun was shining at me. However, sometimes strange things happen. It was a very sunny day, and all kinds of creatures and plants were singing and dancing. But when I came out side, it started to rain. First time I thought it was just an accident. However this strange situation was repeating and repeating. What a strange thing! As I get older, I had to go outside for my social life. But because of this strange situation, I couldn't have a social life very easily. I needed to have great courage to go outside. But if I am afraid of lightening. I would not able to live. Do you know how solved this problem?
The movie called "The Princess Bride" was made in 1987 by the director, Rob Reiner. The genre of this story is Adventure, Romantic comedy, and Fairy tale. This movie was started by the main actress, Fred Savage and Cary Elwes which is the main character, Buttercup and Westley. There are other characters that made the movie more interesting. For example, Prince Humperdinck, Fezzik, Indigo, Vizzini, and Miracle Max. This movie took place in Cliffs of insanity, Fire swamp, Lighting sand, and Forrest of thieves. The short summary of this story is Westley and Buttercup loves each other, however Price Humperdinck tries to kill him to make Buttercup his wife.
This movie is story that grandfather telling a story to his sick grandson. The movie actually start in 5 years ago. There was a farm boy called Westley and farm girl called Buttercup. They became true love. However Westley left on a journey to get some money for the marriage. But his ship got attack from pirate and everybody thought he was dead, because he didn't came back. After 5 years, Buttercup was chosen as a Prince Humperdinck's wife. However the three thieves name Indigo, Fezzik, and Vizzni kidnapped her by the order of Prince Humperdinck. However the strange guy in black saved her. He saves her by his fighting skills and technique and his creative thoughts. The boy who saved her from the danger was actually Westley. They travel to a place called Forest of thieves, Fire Swamp, and Lighting sand. Westley git injured by ROUS-which is a monster. They finally got caught by the prince Humperdinck. Buttercup went with the Prince Humperdinck for Westley's safety. However, Prince Humperdinck tried to kill Westley by his anger, but Indigo and Fezzik helped Westley to be heal. The 3 of them attacked the castle, Indigo did revenge to the person who killed his father, and Westley messed up the marriage and saved her. The 4 of them ran as far as they could and lived happily ever after.
In my opinion, the moral of this story is "Anything cannot win the true love or breakes the true love." the death cannot break them apart, the power of king cannot break them apart, and the time cannot break them apart. True love is stronger than a stone and sweeter than a honey.
The leader in this movie was Westley and the Prince Humperinck. Westley was the true leader. He had saved him and his friends by creative thinking and he always thinks of his friends first. He always tries he best and he does not give up. However Prince Humperdinck is very selfish. And he always does not solve his problem by himself but with the money.
There are 3 goals that i want to acheive while i am at GLPS camp.
Well... let me introduce my first goal first. My first goal is becoming more healthy suring this camp. Because it is summer break, i used to eat food with high kalories and i didn't do any exercise but sleep. During this camp, i want to eat healthy food that helps my body and exercise. Usually, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner are well made and it has food with good nutrients. Everyday, we have 2hours of golf and 2hours of P.E. If i use this time wisely, by not doing anything that is not related to P.E and concentrate on what i am doing.
Now let's move on to next goal. My second goal is writing a daily diary. I want write a diary in same time everyday. Because i only have little bit of time that is given to me. And it is to make a plan if i write my diary at same time. To upgrade my diary and writing skills, i should use dictionary or thesaurus. Because this make me to use different word that has same meaning and i can learn some of the words by using this.
Do you now what is my last goal? Well make a guess. Maybe laerning english? Or being friends with classmates? Well, my last goal is improving my leadership. Because i have a shy characterlistic, i don't usely become a leader. I wish this camp will be my turning point. To improve, i need to participate alot in classes. I should give ou my opinion to the classes and help my classmates too. Other thing is i should E.O.P . E.O.P stands for English Only Police. English is a global language. Almost everybody can speak englush. Eventhough poor country like Cambodia people ca speak english. If in the future, if i become a leader, i should communicate with many people from different countries. And from now on, if i use E.O.P i could have confident on English and communicate witth many people came from different countries.
I wish i will be able to acheive this goal. This goals will make my daily day special.
If there is a number "7" in front of you,what thoughts comeinto your mind first? Lucky 7? My7 is the numbers of times that i transfer to a new school. When i was 6 years old, i went to England and that is when i first when to somewhere called "school." However, when i was 8, i had to move ton China. So unfortunately, i had to transfer to a new school in Beijing, The china school was more strict than the England school. I had to study hard to learn their language and to follow the class. But when i was getting a little used to it, i had to transfer to a new school in Korea, my homeland. I went to public school and learned how the normal Korean students study. However this school had a bad influence, such as spesaking a bad words and using violence. So i had to move to a new school again. this school was surround with nature, and there was only 12 students for each class. However, to learn English, i move to International school.
My second key words is "12". Do you know what 12 represent? 12 represent numbers of dogs that our family bought. First we bought to doggies, however one died buy accident. So we bought a new dog. But this time,my momwas very stress out because of dogs, so we needed to give it to other people. But then, me and Michelle cried so we bought a new dogs. And these thigs was keeep happening, so eventually, we bought 12dogs totally.
My third key word is "food". DO you like food? Well... i LOVE food. I eat until my stomach is so full that i am going to throw up soon. And if i am hungry, i need to eat evenythough it is very late. My moyher says i need to diet, however it is not easy to quit food. Everyday, i am getting fatter and fatter. What should i do?
