I am writing this letter because I believe that a smart phone is useful and it doesn't have any negative effects to me. To persuade you, I will give some reasons and facts. The facts will support my reasons reliable and stronger and support my arguments.

The first reason is "A smart phone can be used as a study tool." To support this, I found a fact related to this. According to UW BOTHELL LEARNING ECHNOLOGY BLOG,
there millions and thousands of apps that is related to education. One type of educational app that is gaining popularity is study tool. If you choose to study with your smart phone, there are many options. For example, apps like Quizlet and Flashcards allows you to create your own flashcards and review them on your phone. For a full lists of apps learning Technologies believes to be useful in education.

The second reason is " You are never out of touch if you have a smart phone. There are statistics to show this is true. According to 41-yes, The biggest benefit of smart phone is that you are never out of touch. There are many different ways that you can communicate with people all over the world. Through email, messaging, and chat helps you to communicate with people. Only do you have more ways to communicate and also you can communicate very quickly.

The last reason is "smart phone can teach responsibility." Smart phone are very expensive.  You need to buy smart phone with big amount of money. Even these days, smart phone is free, but still you need to pay each month for calling, messaging , and LTE. And if you loose, you need to save money to find this or fix it. Students will know this and they will know that this smart phone is their responsibility.

As you can see, smart phone is very useful and it helps us. Based on my arguments and facts, I hope you will agree with me. First, smart phone is a study tool, second, smart phone makes you never out of touch, and last, smart phone teach responsibility.

  1. Your persuasive letter would be much more persuasive if you didn't start off by claiming that smart phones have no negative effects; you go on to mention that smart phones cost money, and you completely ignore the fact that there are other, less educational applications for smart phones.
